1963 Strat in original Lake Placid Blue
Here’s Neville Marten with his 1963 Strat in original Lake Placid Blue. Like many metallic Custom Colours it’s quite worn – it’s been played throughout its entire 46-year life so that’s hardly surprising. He bought it in 1994 from a guy who in turn got it from a guitarist in South Africa. He saw him playing it in a bar and swapped two of his own guitars for it. It has the original cream Tolex case and even the original strap! It’s a beautiful sounding guitar that plays like a dream!
